Think of your favourite sweatshirt, made ankle-length. This dress has a round neck, long sleeves with ribbed cuffs and a hem that is gathered in at the bottom, so the skirt balloons a little around your legs.
It is 65% polyester and 35% cotton, unlined, and it comes in four colours and eight sizes, from S to 5XL.

The piece: a casual maxi by Juna
The dress is sold under the label Juna. Our supplier lists it as a casual maxi dress in a solid colour, with a round neck and long regular sleeves, not lined and not sheer, in a fabric without stretch. The origin is given as imported, with no country.
The photos add the shape. The body hangs straight from the shoulders, widens below the hip and is pulled in again at the hem with elastic. A diagonal seam crosses the lower front, and the hem sits higher at the front than at the back.
Who it's for
For you if you want to be covered from neck to ankle without anything tight. The cut skims over the waist and hips, and the size range goes up to 5XL with a bust of 121.9 cm. It is also a good choice if you find most maxi dresses too summery: this one is made for sneakers and cold mornings.

Fabric and feel: a polyester and cotton blend
The supplier gives 65% polyester and 35% cotton and says the fabric does not stretch. It calls the product a sweatshirt dress, and in the photos the fabric looks like a matte jersey with some weight to it. The supplier gives no fabric weight and does not say whether the inside is brushed, so we will not guess.
Fit and size: roomy, and long
Size M is 114.3 cm long with a bust of 99.1 cm, a waist of 104.1 cm and a sleeve of 61 cm. The waist is wider than the bust in every size, which tells you how the cocoon shape is cut. Size S is 111.8 cm long; 4XL and 5XL are 116.8 cm.
The supplier measures in whole inches, so treat the centimetres as close but not exact. There is no stretch: if your bust is near the figure in the chart, go up a size.

Styling: sneakers first
Every photo but one shows the dress with white sneakers, and that is the obvious match. The gathered hem shows your ankles and shoes, so they are part of the outfit.
Add a jeans jacket or a short puffer when it gets cold, and a long necklace if the plain front feels empty. Chunky boots work as well as sneakers.
Occasions
Days at home, the school run, a walk, shopping, travel days when you want to sit comfortably for hours. It is a casual dress by the supplier's own description, so we would not pick it for a formal event.
Care: hand wash cold
The supplier's care instructions are stricter than for most sweatshirt fabrics: hand wash cold, do not tumble dry. Dry it flat or on a wide hanger so the length does not pull.

Most long dresses end in a straight line. This one is gathered at the bottom, so the fabric rounds inward and the skirt keeps its shape when you walk. Together with the diagonal seam on the front it turns a plain sweatshirt dress into something with a silhouette of its own.
