The piece: a MeadowGlow dress
The label is MeadowGlow. The supplier lists two features, smocked and ruffled, and describes the fabric as 100% polyester without stretch and without a lining. Origin: imported, country not named.
The photos show where those features sit. The smocking is a wide elastic-looking band around the whole waist. The ruffles are at three places: a small frill around the neck, a flounce at each cuff and a tier at the hem.
Who it's for
For you if you like a dress with a defined waist but dislike a zip that pins you in. The smocked band shapes the middle, and the bust and skirt are cut with room.
Long sleeves make it a dress for spring and autumn as much as for a cool summer evening.

Fabric and feel: light polyester, unlined
The dress is 100% polyester. The supplier says the fabric does not stretch and that the dress is not lined. In the photos it moves easily when the model turns, which points to a light woven fabric, but no weight is given.
Because there is no lining, a slip or skin-tone underwear is worth considering with the pink print, which has the palest background.
Fit and silhouette: fitted waist, full skirt
The chart gives a bust of 87.9 cm in S up to 110 cm in 2XL, and a length of 103.1 cm to 106.9 cm. The waist figures, 63 cm to 79 cm, look small. They are taken on the smocked band at rest, and smocking is made to stretch; the supplier does not say how far.
So choose by bust. The fabric has no stretch there, and if the bust fits, the waist will follow. The supplier leaves the hip column empty, which makes sense with a skirt this wide.

Styling: straw in summer, boots in autumn
The photos pair every print with a round straw bag and heeled sandals. It is a look that works as it is for a garden party or a holiday dinner.
When it gets colder, the dark blue print with yellow flowers takes tights and ankle boots well, with a short jacket that stops at the smocked waist. The pink and light blue prints are happiest with bare legs and light shoes.

The supplier states: machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Hanging the dress up straight after washing helps the ruffles fall back into place; that tip is ours.

Neck, cuffs, hem. The same small ruffle comes back three times, each a little bigger than the last. It ties the dress together from top to bottom, and it is the reason the skirt has that swing in the photos.
