A sleeveless fleece vest to wear over your knits
This is a sleeveless fleece vest by SYNZ with a round neck, big buttons and two patch pockets. You wear it over a jumper or a blouse as an extra layer.
It is 95% polyester and 5% spandex, not lined, and the supplier rates the thickness as normal. Sizes run from S to XL, and size S is 59.9 cm long.

The piece: curly fleece, cut like a waistcoat
The supplier calls it a fleece button-down vest coat and lists buttons and pockets as its features. In the photos the fleece has a curly, teddy-like pile. The shape is straight and boxy, the shoulders are cut wide so they drop just past the shoulder point, and the hem ends at the hip.
A note on the colour. The shop lists it as Pale Blush. In the photos the vest is camel, a light warm brown, and we would not call it pink. The white sleeves you see belong to the jumper and blouse underneath; the vest has none.
Who it's for
For you if you get cold at your desk, or if you like to layer when the weather cannot decide. A sleeveless layer keeps your arms free, so it is practical for driving, typing and carrying shopping.
With a bust of 100.1 cm in size S it is cut to go over other clothes. That is the idea.

Fabric and feel: polyester fleece, no lining
The fleece is 95% polyester with 5% spandex. The supplier rates its thickness as normal and says the vest is not lined, so the inside is the back of the same fabric.
We make no claim about how warm it is. The supplier gives none, and a sleeveless, unlined layer is an indoor and in-between-seasons piece. For real cold you will want a coat over it.
Fit: boxy, with room for a jumper
The supplier's chart gives two measurements. Length: 59.9 cm in S, 62 cm in M, 64 cm in L and 66 cm in XL. Bust: 100.1 cm, 105.9 cm, 112 cm and 119.9 cm.
Measure across the chest of the jumper you plan to wear underneath and add some room. If you are between sizes, the larger one will sit better over a thick knit.

Styling: white underneath, dark below
Both outfits in the photos use the same idea. One has a white jumper under the vest, the other a white blouse with full sleeves, and both have dark trousers. The pale sleeves make the camel fleece stand out.
Try it over a black roll-neck too, or over a striped long-sleeve tee with jeans. Gold jewellery repeats the buttons.
Occasions
Wear it at your desk, on the school run, on a walk on a dry autumn day or at home on the sofa. It is an everyday layer, and it looks more put together than a cardigan thrown over your shoulders.
Care: machine wash cold
The supplier's instructions: machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Close the buttons before washing. Fleece with a pile tends to look fuller if you shake it out and let it dry flat for the last part.
The wow detail: three big buttons
The buttons are large, oval and gold-coloured, and there are only three of them in the photos. On a soft, matte fleece they work like jewellery. They are the reason this reads as a waistcoat and not as outdoor gear.
