The supplier lists three features: eyelet, ruched and smocked. The fabric is 100% polyester with no stretch, and the body is not lined. It is imported.
The photos show how it is put together. A shirt collar opens into a V with a short row of buttons. The smocked band sits at the waist, and the skirt is gathered onto it. The balloon sleeves end in a buttoned cuff. The hem follows the scallops of the embroidery.

Fabric and feel: embroidered polyester, unlined
The fabric is 100% polyester with eyelet embroidery: small holes cut into the cloth and finished with stitching. Because the dress is not lined, those holes are open. On the white dress you can see skin through the sleeves in the photos, and the same will be true for the body and skirt.
Plan on a slip dress or a skin-tone bodysuit underneath. With the black one, black underwear does the job.
Fit and sizing: read the bust figure with care
The length is clear: 79 cm in S, 80 cm in M, 81 cm in L and 82 cm in XL. The shoulder runs from 39.1 cm to 41.9 cm. The bust column is harder to read. It gives 68.1 cm for S and 84.1 cm for XL, which is small for a full bust on a dress the supplier says has no stretch.
Smocking is elastic by nature, so the waist will give. The bodice above it is woven and will not. If you are between sizes, or fuller in the bust, we would take the larger size. The supplier lists the chart in inches; we converted it and rounded to one decimal.

Styling: bare legs or tights
In summer, wear the white dress with flat sandals or espadrilles and a straw bag. The black one works into autumn with opaque tights, ankle boots and a biker-style jacket. The collar and cuffs give it enough polish for a dinner.

Care: cold wash, in a bag
The supplier says machine wash cold and tumble dry low. Eyelet embroidery catches on hooks and zips, so use a laundry bag and close the buttons first. Wash white with white.
The wow detail: the scalloped hem
The hem is not cut straight. It follows the rounded edge of the embroidery, so the skirt ends in a row of small arcs with cut-outs above them. It is the first thing you notice when the dress moves.
