A cocktail dress with sheer sequin sleeves
This is a cocktail dress with sheer sequin sleeves by Bicotone. The body is plain and matte, with a heart-shaped neckline and a skirt that overlaps at the front. All the sparkle sits in the two sleeves.
The maker gives a length of 95 to 98 cm, which ends above the knee on the model. The dress is lined and closes with a concealed zip. We sell it in beige and in green.

The piece: what we changed on this page
This page used to call the dress a bicolor maxi evening gown. It is one colour and it is short, so the title now says what the supplier ships: a wrap-front dress with sequin sleeves. Bicotone lists it under evening dresses.
Two models are available. Model 210725 is beige; our colour button calls it Peach. Model 210726 is a deep green.
Who it's for
For you if you want a party dress with covered arms that still looks light. The sleeves are see-through, so they cover without hiding.
You should like a neckline. The maker says the heart-shaped front slightly exposes the bust, and in the photos the V is deep. If that is more than you want, a lace camisole underneath changes it.

Fabric and feel: three layers, as the maker lists them
The maker lists the composition in three lines. Fabric 1 is 93% polyester and 7% elastane. Fabric 2 is 100% polyester. The lining is 70% polyester and 30% viscose. The description does not say which fabric is the body and which the sleeves. A stretch fabric for the body and a plain polyester mesh for the sleeves is the likely reading, and we mark it as our guess.
In the photos the body is smooth and matte and holds its pleats. The sleeves are a fine net with small sequins spread over it.
Fit and silhouette: fitted, above the knee
The dress is cut close to the body. Size 38 has a chest of 92 cm and a waist of 74 cm; size 44 has 104 and 86 cm. The length is 95 cm in the two smallest sizes and 98 cm in the two largest.
Stock is uneven. Today the supplier has the beige dress in sizes 38 to 46 and the green one in size 36 only. The size buttons show what you can order.

Styling: quiet shoes, small bag
In the photos the beige dress is worn with nude lace-up sandals, and the green one with clear-strap heels and a small silver-tone bag. Both choices leave the attention on the sleeves.
We would keep bracelets off, since they catch on sequins. Earrings and a fine chain are plenty.
Occasions
This is a dress for December and for parties in general: Christmas dinner, New Year's Eve, a birthday, a wedding reception. The green is the more festive of the two. The beige is softer and also works for a daytime celebration.
Care: follow the label
The maker's data has no care instructions, so go by the label sewn into the dress. Sequins and net do not like friction. Store the dress on a hanger with the sleeves hanging free.

Most party dresses put the sequins on the body. This one does the reverse. The dress itself is as calm as an office dress, and then the sleeves catch every light in the room. Because the net is sheer, you see skin and sparkle at the same time.
