Bicotone gave this black skater dress three things to look at: a crossover V-neck, a bow on each shoulder and a skirt that swings. It is fitted at the waist, lined, and closes with a covered zip.
The maker's size table gives a length of 91 cm in every size, from 34 to 40. On the model the hem sits above the knee. We sell it in black.

The piece: model 187279 by Bicotone
Bicotone sells this dress through a Polish fashion wholesaler, which files it under evening dresses. The supplier calls it a very girly model, with a top tied on the shoulders in bows and a slightly flared bottom.
Please note the photos. The gallery shows the same dress in cobalt blue, navy blue, red and pale pink as well. Those colours help you see the cut, but the dress we sell is the black one, which you find in the last four photos.
The back matters as much as the front. The supplier describes it as open and slightly extended, and in the photos it dips into a V between the shoulder blades.
Who it's for
For you if you want a little black dress that is playful and not severe. The bows and the full skirt do that.
It is a fitted cut in the top. The waist measures 62 cm in size 34 and 68 cm in size 40, so it is made for a defined waist, and it shows shoulders, neckline and back. If you prefer more cover, a cropped jacket solves the shoulders but not the neckline.

Fabric and feel: mostly viscose, with a lining
The composition is 70% viscose and 30% polyester, and the dress has a lining. Viscose gives the fabric its soft fall. In the photos the skirt hangs in deep, even folds and lifts in a full circle when the model turns.
The surface is matte and smooth, with no shine. No stretch fibre is listed, so the fitted top relies on the cut and the zip. That is one more reason to check the chest and waist figures before you order.
Fit and silhouette: small waist, full skirt
The dress comes in sizes 34, 36, 38 and 40. The chest measures 82, 84, 86 and 88 cm and the waist 62, 64, 66 and 68 cm. The length is 91 cm in all four.
Two centimetres between sizes is not much, and the numbers are on the small side. Measure your waist where the waistband will sit and compare honestly. If you are between two sizes, we would take the larger one, since nothing in the composition suggests stretch. The table doesn't say whether these are garment or body measurements.

Styling: let the bows be the jewellery
In the photos the black dress is worn with strappy black heels, long earrings and a small sparkly bag. Notice there is no necklace. The neckline and the bows fill that space already.
Wear your hair up or to one side, so the bows and the open back are visible. For a colder evening, a cropped blazer worn over the shoulders keeps the waist in view. Sheer black tights work in winter.
Occasions
The supplier files it under evening dresses. We would wear it to a birthday, a cocktail party, a wedding reception or a Christmas party at work. It is a dress for dancing, because the skirt moves with you.
For a formal dinner where you sit all evening, bear in mind the open back and the short hem.

For lined viscose dresses in general: close the zip, wash gently and hang the dress to dry, so the skirt keeps its even hem.
The wow detail: two bows
Where most dresses have a plain strap, this one has a bow, one on each shoulder. They stand up a little and frame the face. From the back they sit at the top of the V. It is a small, slightly cheeky detail on an otherwise clean black dress, and it is what people will mention.
