At first glance it looks like a T-shirt top and a tennis skirt. It is one piece. This cotton mini dress by Moe runs straight to the hip and ends in a short skirt of sharp pleats.
The fabric is 76% cotton, the sleeves are short with small buttons, and the maker gives a length of 85 cm in S and 91 cm in XL.

The piece: a Moe design in four colours
Moe describes a mini dress in cotton fabric with a lowered waist, pleats at the bottom and short sleeves finished with darts and decorative buttons. It closes with a hidden zip at the back and has no lining. The maker says it is designed and sewn in Poland.
There are four colours. Pink is a bright fuchsia. One blue is dark with a jeans look and the other is a pale sky blue. The fourth is called grey in the supplier data and looks like anthracite in the photos, close to black, which is what our colour button calls it.

Fabric and feel: cotton with some polyester
The composition is 76% cotton, 21% polyester and 3% spandex. The maker stresses comfort and breathability, which fits a fabric that is three-quarters cotton.
In the photos the cloth has body. The pleats stay sharp and the bodice does not cling. The polyester helps the pleats hold, and the spandex gives a little ease across the back.
Fit and silhouette: straight top, short pleats
Size M is listed with a chest of 91 cm, a waist of 81 cm, hips of 99 cm and a length of 87 cm. Each size adds five centimetres in width and two in length.
The table does not say whether these are body or garment measurements. The bodice in the photos skims the body without pulling. Compare the chest figure with a woven top you own, and think about the length if you are tall.

Styling: flats or low heels
In the photos the dress is worn with clear mules and white slingbacks. White sneakers make it sportier, and loafers with socks lean into the school-uniform feel.
A cropped jacket that ends at the dropped waist seam keeps the pleats in view. In cooler weather, tights in the same colour family lengthen the leg.
Occasions
We see it at a summer lunch, a day in town or a birthday. The dark blue and the anthracite can go to a relaxed office with tights.
The maker does not name an occasion. It is a day dress, and a cheerful one.

The maker's data has no washing instructions, so follow the label sewn into the dress.
Pleats in general last longer when the dress is hung up straight after washing and the pleats are smoothed into place by hand while damp.
The wow detail: the sleeve buttons
The pleats get the attention, but look at the sleeves. Each one is shaped with small darts and closed with decorative buttons at the edge, like the cuff of a shirt cut short. It is the kind of finishing you usually find on a blouse, and it lifts a simple cotton dress.
