This loose knee-length dress by Stylove is a shift: it hangs straight from the shoulders and does not mark the waist. The detail is at the neck, where a teardrop opening is closed by one button.
The sleeves are 3/4 length. The maker's table gives a length of 94 cm in S and 102 cm in XXL, and the dress was designed and made in Poland.

The piece: one Stylove shape, five colours
Stylove describes a loose and comfortable dress with a relaxed fit that reaches just above the knee. It has a hidden zip at the back, a small slit at the bottom for easier walking and no lining.
The page used to call this a sheath midi dress. A sheath is fitted and a midi is longer, so neither word was right. The cut is loose and the hem is at the knee.
Five colours are supplied: pink, grey, violet, blue and beige. The pink is a hot pink in the photos, and the grey has a lilac tint, which is why our button calls it lavender.
Who it's for
For you if you want a dress for work that does not cling. A shift skims over the waist and hips, and the 3/4 sleeves cover the upper arms.
The size range is generous. XXL has a chest of 128 cm and hips of 122 cm in the maker's table.

Fabric and feel: a smooth blend with stretch
The composition is 65% polyester, 30% viscose and 5% spandex. In the photos the fabric is smooth and matte and falls in a clean line, without clinging to the legs.
The viscose softens the hand and the spandex adds a little give. The dress has no lining, so with the pale colours you may want a slip.
Fit and silhouette: straight and roomy
The table reads like garment measurements. Size M has a chest of 113 cm, hips of 107 cm and a length of 96 cm. Each size adds five centimetres in width and two in length.
Take your usual size for the loose look in the photos. If you are between sizes and like it neater, the smaller one will still have room, since the chest is cut wider than the hips.

Styling: shoes set the tone
The photos pair the dress with nude pumps or bright orange sandals. With pumps it is an office dress; with coloured sandals it goes to a party.
A thin belt changes the shape if you want a waist now and then. A long cardigan or a blazer works over it, because the neckline is high and simple.
Occasions
The maker says it suits various occasions. We would wear the beige, the grey and the blue to work and the pink or violet to a birthday or a summer wedding.
It is an easy dress for days with a long programme, because nothing pinches.
Care: follow the label
The maker's data has no washing instructions, so follow the label sewn into the dress.
Close the zip and the neck button before washing so they do not catch, and hang the dress to dry on a hanger.

The whole dress is plain, and then there is one gold-tone button at the top of a teardrop opening. It is the size of a fingernail. It gives your eye a place to land, and it means you can leave your necklace at home.
