Fabric and feel: modal with cotton

The composition is 65% modal, 30% cotton and 5% spandex. Modal is a fibre made from cellulose. It is known for a smooth, soft hand and a fluid drape, and the maker describes this fabric as soft and breathable.

In the photos the jersey is matte and hangs in soft folds from the knot. The white looks opaque on the model, but with any white jersey we would wear underwear in a skin tone.

Fit and silhouette: choose by chest

The chest measures 86 cm in S and grows by 5 cm per size to 106 cm in XXL. The length goes from 114 to 122 cm. With 5% spandex the jersey stretches, so the fitted top follows the body.

Let the tie hang at the side or wrap it once more and knot it at the back. In autumn the dress takes opaque tights, ankle boots and a long cardigan. A fine pendant sits well in the V.

The maker calls it a choice for various occasions. In grey or black it is an office dress. In red it goes to a dinner or a party, and in white to a summer celebration, unless you are a guest at a wedding.
