The supplier does not mention a zip, and we can't see one. With 5% spandex and an open back, the dress appears to pull on over the head.

The spandex is what lets a dress this close move with you. Bear in mind that an open back is an open back. The dress is warm where it covers you, and on a cold evening you will want a coat or a wrap for the way there.

Fit and silhouette: close, in three sizes

The table below is the maker's. Size XS has a chest of 74 cm, a waist of 64 cm and hips of 76 cm. Size S adds 4 cm to each, and M adds another 4 cm. The numbers are small, which suggests they were taken on the unstretched dress, and the fabric has stretch.

Length is 96 cm in XS and S and 98 cm in M. On the model the hem sits well above the knee, so expect a short dress if you are tall. Compare the table with a fitted knit dress you already own before you choose, and size up to M if you sit between S and M and dislike a tight fit.

Long necklaces get in the way here; earrings are the better choice. And think about your bra before you leave: the scoop is deep, so a low-back or stick-on style is the practical answer.
