This ribbed knit dress by Factory Price is the simplest kind of sweater dress: one colour, one texture, long sleeves and a round neck. The rib runs from the neckband to the hem and makes the dress hug the body.

The piece: model 186082, and one correction
Factory Price sells this dress through a fashion wholesaler in Poland. The maker describes a knitted dress with a pencil cut for everyday wear and for work, ending before the knee, with long sleeves, a round neckline and a ribbed texture.
The same text calls the material "mostly cotton". The composition table says otherwise: 50% viscose, 29% polyester and 21% polyamide, with no cotton at all. The table is the more precise source, so that is what we print here. If the label in the dress you receive says something different, tell us.
Who it's for
For you if you like a dress that needs nothing added. No belt, no zip, no ironing. You pull it on with boots and you are done.
It is a close fit and it shows your shape, so it suits you if that is what you want from a knit dress. For a looser look, a long cardigan or an open shirt over it changes the line.

Fabric and feel: a viscose blend knit
Half of the yarn is viscose, a fibre made from cellulose that feels smooth and cool. The polyester and the polyamide add strength and help the knit recover after stretching. Together they make a fabric that is finer and more fluid than a woolly sweater knit.
The rib is what gives the stretch. In the photos the surface has a soft, slightly flecked look in the camel tone.
Fit and silhouette: close, to above the knee
The maker's table has two numbers for the one size: a total length of 90 cm and a chest of 90 cm. The table does not say how the chest was measured. A rib knit stretches a long way past its resting size, which is how one size is meant to cover several.
On the model the dress is snug everywhere and the hem sits a hand above the knee. If you are tall, 90 cm will end higher on your thigh. Measure from the top of your shoulder down to check where it lands on you.

Styling: tone on tone, or a hard contrast
The photos pair the dress with heeled ankle boots in almost the same camel. That lengthens the leg and keeps everything calm.
The other route is contrast. Black knee-high boots, black tights and a black coat turn the camel into the one warm colour in the outfit. Gold-tone hoops and a long necklace sit well on a plain round neck.
Occasions
The maker names everyday situations and work. With a blazer it is an office dress. With trainers and a short jacket it is a Saturday dress. Because of the long sleeves it carries from early autumn into spring.
Care: follow the label
The maker's data has no care instructions, so go by the sewn-in label. Knits with viscose usually want a cool, gentle wash. Dry the dress flat on a towel. A wet knit dress on a hanger grows longer than you ordered.
