A ribbed-knit dress with wide batwing sleeves
This ribbed-knit dress by Rue Paris plays two shapes against each other. The skirt and the waist are close to the body. The sleeves are cut wide from the shoulder and only narrow at the forearm, where a long cuff holds them.
The knit is 90% cotton with 10% spandex. It comes in sizes S, M and L and in six colours. The supplier gives no length; on the models the hem sits around mid-thigh.

The piece: six colours, one cut
Rue Paris lists one model per colour. The descriptions are short: a dress with a fitted cut and long sleeves. For the newest model, the sage green one, the maker says more. It is called a knitted pencil dress in a ribbed material, with a classic round neckline, a puff sleeve and a length that reaches before the knee.
The colours you can order are red, mocha brown, light grey, black, dusty pink and sage green. Two buttons have other names: Mauve is the dusty pink and green 2 is the sage.
Who it's for
For you if you like a fitted dress and want it to be comfortable too. A cotton rib with spandex stretches where you need it.
The roomy top half helps if you find close-fitting knit dresses too revealing around the bust and arms. Here only the waist and the skirt are tight.

The photos show no zip or buttons. The dress looks like a pull-on style, which fits a stretch knit, but the supplier does not confirm it.
Fabric and feel: cotton rib with 10% spandex
The composition is 90% cotton and 10% spandex. A rib knit has raised vertical lines, which gives the fabric more stretch across the body than a flat knit. In the photos the surface is fine and even, and the skirt lies smooth over the hips.
Fit and silhouette: tight below, loose above
The maker's table gives a chest of 82 cm in S, 86 cm in M and 91 cm in L. Those numbers are small, so they describe the fabric before it stretches. For the sage green model the table adds a waist range: 72-80 cm in S, 78-86 cm in M and 84-90 cm in L.
No length is listed, and we will not invent one. On the models the skirt ends around mid-thigh. Not every colour comes in every size today. Red and grey are there in all three; brown, pink and sage green only in L.

Styling: let the boots decide
The photos show how far this dress stretches in mood. The red one is worn with black over-the-knee boots. The brown one gets nude pumps, the black one a wide-brimmed hat and the sage green one bright green sandals.
