A loose cotton knit dress with a pocket
This cotton knit dress by BeWear is made for days when you want to be dressed in one move. The maker describes a comfortable dress of soft knitwear with a loose cut that does not restrict movement, and a slanted pocket for your hand or your keys.
It is 96 cm long in size S and 100 cm in XXL, in 90% cotton with 10% spandex. We sell it in black, grey and yellow.

The piece: one BeWear shape, three colours
BeWear lists one model per colour: 121647 in black, 121648 in grey and 121649 in yellow. The grey is a melange in the photos and the yellow is a soft, warm shade.
The shape is what people call a cocoon. It is narrow at the shoulders, widest around the hip and drawn in again towards the hem. The photos show a round neck with a ribbed band and sleeves that stop below the elbow. We removed the old "mock-neck" from the title because the neckline is simply round.
Who it's for
For you if you want room around the waist and hips and still want a shape. A hip measurement of 124 cm in size S tells you how much room there is.
It also suits you if you dress in layers. The supplier suggests wearing it as a tunic over trousers or leggings when it gets cooler, which stretches one dress across most of the year.

Fabric and feel: cotton knit with 10% spandex
The composition is 90% cotton and 10% spandex. The supplier calls the knit soft. In the photos it has some body: the dress holds its rounded shape away from the legs, the way a sweatshirt fabric does.
Ten percent spandex is a good share. It lets the fabric give when you sit or cycle and spring back afterwards.
Fit and silhouette: narrow shoulders, wide hips, knee length
Read the table with the shape in mind. The chest is the fitted part: 90 cm in S, 94 in M, 98 in L, 102 in XL and 106 in XXL. Below that the dress opens up to 112 cm at the waist and 124 cm at the hip in S, and 128 and 140 cm in XXL.
So choose your size by your chest. Length goes from 96 to 100 cm, which is around the knee on the model.

Styling: trainers now, leggings later
In every photo the model wears white canvas trainers and bare legs. That is the warm-weather version. When it cools down, follow the supplier's tip and put leggings or slim trousers underneath, with ankle boots.
A long necklace works on the plain front. A belt does not, because it fights the cocoon shape.
Occasions
The supplier calls it everyday styling. We would wear it for working from home, the school run, a day of travel and a weekend away. The black one is neat enough for a casual office.
Care: follow the label
The maker's data has no care instructions, so go by the label sewn into the dress. As a general habit with cotton knits, wash dark colours inside out and reshape the dress while it is damp.
The wow detail: a pocket built into the seam
A curved seam runs across the front of the dress, and the pocket opening sits in that seam at an angle. Your hand slides in from the side. From a distance it looks like a line of stitching, and then the model puts her hand in it. The small metal tag next to it is the only decoration.
