The supplier states both pieces are 100% polyester. In the close-up photos the fabric has a smooth, slightly shiny surface and holds the sharp pleats of the skirt cleanly.

Fit and measurements: cropped shirt, high-waist mini skirt

The shirt is cut short, with a straight hem that ends above the waist. It is 42 cm long in S, 43 cm in M and 44 cm in L. The supplier measures the bust flat at 48, 50 and 52 cm, so double those numbers for the width all the way round.

The skirt is 37 cm long in S, 38 cm in M and 39 cm in L. Its waist, measured flat, is 32, 34 or 36 cm. Lay a skirt that fits you flat, measure across the waistband and compare. The pleats give room over the hips, but the waistband does not stretch in the photos. The supplier asks you to allow 2 to 3 cm difference on every figure.

Styling: worn together or mixed in

The photos show the set as a full matched look, with the shirt buttoned up. That is the simplest way to wear it: add white sneakers and a shoulder bag and you are ready to go.

You can also split the set up. Wear the shirt on its own with high-waisted jeans or tailored trousers. Wear the skirt with a plain white tank top or a fitted knit for a different feel. The light blue and white stripe works with white, cream, navy and soft neutrals.
