This open front cardigan is a chunky knit made of large colour blocks, with balloon sleeves and no buttons. You wear it open, like a soft jacket.
It is 100% polyester without stretch. Our shop offers one size in three colourways: a pastel mix, a rose mix and brown.

The piece: a chunky knit with zigzag joins
Our supplier describes a color block open front cardigan in a basic style, 100% polyester, no stretch, imported without a country named. In our shop it carries the label Breezy Cloth.
In the photos the blocks of colour meet in a row of zigzag stitches, which makes each change of colour look hand-stitched. The sleeves are full and gather into a ribbed cuff, and a ribbed band runs along the front. The yarn looks slightly fuzzy.
Who it's for
For you if your wardrobe is mostly jeans and white tops and you want one piece that brings the colour. The brown version does the same job in a quieter voice.
Two things are uncertain, and we would rather say so. The photos show two pastel combinations, pink with yellow and light blue, and blue with lilac and yellow, while our shop lists one option called multi colored pastel; the supplier's data does not tell us which of the two it is. And the cardigan is sold in one size, while the supplier's chart has four.

Fabric and feel: polyester yarn, thick gauge
The composition is 100% polyester and the supplier states no stretch. A knit always gives a little because of its structure, but do not expect elastic recovery from the yarn.
The surface in the photos is slightly fuzzy, the kind of look often achieved with brushed yarn. Whatever it resembles, the fibre is polyester; there is no animal fibre in the composition.
Fit and silhouette: wide, with one size on offer
The supplier's chart runs from S to XL with only small steps between sizes: a bust of 121.9 to 134.1 cm, a length of 62 to 65 cm, a sleeve of 45 to 48 cm and a shoulder width of 68.1 to 71.9 cm. Our shop sells one size, and the data does not say which line of the chart that is.
In practice the difference matters little, because every size in the chart is oversized. Count on a bust of at least 121.9 cm and a length of about 62 to 65 cm. The shoulder seam sits far down the arm, so the sleeve measurement starts low.

Styling: let the cardigan be the colour
Every photo follows the same idea: a white top, light jeans or white shorts, and the cardigan on top. It works because the rest stays calm.
The brown, white and taupe version goes well with a white handbag and sneakers, as shown. The pastel mixes are fun with a straw bag in summer.
Occasions
Wear it on cool summer evenings, on spring days without a coat, at the office over a tee, or on the sofa. It is a cardigan you put on for the mood as much as for the temperature.
Care: cold wash, low dryer
The supplier's care instructions: machine wash cold, tumble dry low. For a chunky knit we would add a laundry bag and dry it flat, so the sleeves do not stretch out of shape under their own weight; that part is our advice.
The wow detail: the zigzag between the colours
Where one colour ends and the next begins, the knit does not change in a straight line. A row of zigzag stitches in the neighbouring colour crosses the border, like teeth of a zip. It turns simple blocks into a pattern.
