This is a loose waffle-knit sweater with a shirt-style collar and a full button front, closed with white shell-look buttons. It has long sleeves and ribbed cuffs and hem.

You choose sky blue, dark blue, pink or wine red, in sizes S to 3XL. The supplier declares the yarn as 100% polyester.

From the neck down to the chest it reads like a shirt: a proper collar and a placket with small white buttons. Below that it is all knit, soft and loose, with ribbing at the cuffs and hem (photos). It is the kind of top that makes jeans look like you made an effort.

Fabric and feel

The supplier writes "Polyester" as the fabric. Following our house rule for a single declared fibre, we list it as 100% polyester, as declared by the supplier. The knit is a waffle texture, the small grid of raised squares you know from waffle tops. The supplier gives no weight, so we can't tell you how thick it is.

Fit and length

The supplier calls the fit loose and relaxed, and the numbers agree: the bust is 108 cm already in S. Length runs from 65 cm in S to 70 cm in 3XL, which on most women ends at the hip. Sleeves are 59 to 64 cm.

The size data comes from the supplier's text, without a printed chart, so treat it as a guide. If you are between sizes and like a neater fit, take the smaller one. Allow 2-3 cm difference.

Styling: white trousers and a necklace

The supplier shows it with white trousers and a few layered necklaces over the collar, and that works for all four colours. Sky blue with white is fresh; wine red with dark jeans is warmer for winter. Leave the top two buttons open to let a necklace show.

Occasions

Wear it to the office, to a weekend lunch, or on a Sunday walk under a coat. It is one of those tops you reach for when you want to look tidy but not dressed up.

Care

The supplier data has no care instructions, so follow the sewn-in label. Close the buttons before washing and dry the sweater flat, so the knit keeps its shape.
