Materials and build: faux leather on a rubber sole

The supplier names PU leather and rubber. PU leather is faux leather, a coated synthetic material. In the photos the upper is the faux leather part and the sole the rubber part, though the supplier does not spell that out.

Nothing is said about the lining or insole. The chain looks gold-tone in the photos; the supplier does not say what it is made of.

Size and foot length

The supplier's chart gives a foot length for each EU size, from 22.4 cm for size 35 to 26.4 cm for size 43. Measure your foot standing, from heel to longest toe.

A loafer has no laces to tighten, so the size has to be right. The supplier does not say whether these run small or large. If you are between sizes and plan to wear socks, take the larger one.
