Description
Chunky loafers with a chain and a serious sole
These chunky loafers take a classic slip-on shape and put it on a thick black lug sole. The upper is a glossy caramel brown, and a gold-coloured chain sits across the instep.
The supplier lists patent leather and rubber as materials. They come in brown, in EU sizes 36 to 43, and they ship without a shoe box.

The piece: a loafer on a lug sole
Our supplier describes these as chain decor chunky loafers with a mid heel, made of patent leather and rubber, imported without a country named. That is the full extent of the supplier's data, so the rest of this page leans on the photos.
In the pictures the upper has a stitched apron toe and a high shine. The chain is made of a few large links fixed to a strap over the instep. Between upper and sole runs a light-coloured stitched welt, which breaks up the brown and the black.
Who they're for
For you if you like the neatness of a loafer but want more presence underfoot. The thick sole adds height without a narrow heel, and the shape goes with jeans as easily as with a pleated skirt.
The range runs to size 43, which helps if you usually struggle to find women's styles in larger sizes.

Materials and build: patent finish, rubber sole
The supplier gives two materials: patent leather and rubber. It does not say which part is which, though the photos make it plain that the glossy upper is the patent part and the sole is the rubber. There is no information on the lining or the insole.
We have no certificate or further detail on the leather, so we pass on the supplier's statement as it stands. A patent finish wipes clean easily and shows creases across the toe sooner than a matt one; that is true of the finish in general.
Size and fit: go by foot length
The supplier's chart gives a foot length per size: 22.9 cm for 36, 23.9 cm for 38, 24.9 cm for 40 and 26.4 cm for 43. Stand on a sheet of paper, mark heel and longest toe, and measure the distance.
The supplier gives no width and no fit advice for this model. A slip-on has to hold your heel without laces, so if you are between two sizes and plan to wear them with thin socks, the smaller size is the more logical choice. The heel and platform height are not given in centimetres.

Styling: cropped hems and white socks
The photos show them with cropped jeans and a bare ankle, which lets the sole do its work. White ribbed socks give the same shoes a preppy turn.
Brown patent pairs well with camel, cream and dark green. With black tights and a short skirt they make a good autumn uniform, and under wide trousers only the toe and the chain peek out.
Occasions
Wear them to work, to lectures, on a city day or to dinner when you want flat-ish shoes that still look dressed. The profile sole suggests grip, but the supplier makes no claim about wet surfaces and neither do we.
Care: no instructions from the supplier
The supplier gives no care instructions. For patent finishes in general, a soft damp cloth is the usual way to remove marks, and it helps to keep the shoes away from heaters. Treat that as common practice, not as the maker's advice.
The wow detail: the chain
A few oversized links across the instep are all the decoration these shoes have, and it is enough. The gold colour picks up the warm brown, and the chain is the first thing you see when you look down.
