This chunky knit cardigan by PeeKaBoo is the kind you put on in October and take off in March. It is 82 cm long, open at the front and knitted in a thick rib.
The sleeves carry the design. They are wide, gathered into a cuff, and crossed by two broad bands in contrasting colours.

The piece: one size, three colours
PeeKaBoo calls it a tasteful cardigan with a looser cut, unbuttoned, with long sleeves and contrasting stripes on the sleeves. Unbuttoned means there is nothing to close: you wear it open.
There are three versions. The pink one has grey and cream bands, the beige one black and taupe, and the black one cream and taupe. In the photos the beige is a warm cream.
It comes in one size. The maker's table gives a total length of 82 cm and a chest of 130 cm, which tells you how roomy it is.
Who it's for
For you if you want a cardigan that works as a light coat indoors and as a layer under a real coat outside.
One size with a 130 cm chest covers a wide range of bodies. On a small frame it will look deliberately oversized; on a larger frame it becomes a regular loose fit.

Fabric and feel: an acrylic blend with 18% wool
The yarn is a blend: 55% acrylic, 20% polyester, 18% wool and 7% polyamide. So this is mostly a synthetic knit with some wool in it. We say that plainly because chunky cardigans are often sold as wool when they are not.
Acrylic makes a knit light for its volume and soft to the hand. The wool adds some of the spring and warmth people like in a winter knit. If your skin reacts to wool, 18% may be enough to notice, so wear a long-sleeved top underneath.
Fit and silhouette: long and wide
There is one size. Total length 82 cm, chest 130 cm. Hold a tape measure from your shoulder down to see where 82 cm ends; on the model it is mid-thigh.
The shoulders drop and the sleeves balloon, so the cardigan adds volume to the upper body. We like it over something slim.

Styling: slim underneath
The photos show two ways. Over a top and a short skirt with ankle boots, where the cardigan is longer than the skirt. And over a shirt and jeans, which is the everyday version.
Push the sleeves up a little so the bands sit on the forearm. A belt over the cardigan closes it and gives you a waist on windy days.
Occasions
Wear it at home, at work on a cold office day and on weekend walks when a coat is too much.

The maker's data has no washing instructions, so follow the label sewn into the cardigan.
Chunky knits with wool in general keep their shape when they are washed cool, pressed in a towel and dried flat. Hanging a wet knit this long will stretch it.
The wow detail: the sleeve bands
Each sleeve has two broad bands between elbow and cuff, in colours that are not in the body of the cardigan. On the pink one they are grey and cream. They turn a plain knit into something with a little design, and because the sleeves balloon, the bands curve around the arm.
