LaBalancia presents Cally as shorts that combine comfort with a dressed look, for everyday outings and for more formal events. The maker points to the mix of viscose and elastane, which lets the shorts move with you.
The photos show the rest. The waistband is wide and closes visually with two buttons. Below it sit two pockets under small flaps, each with its own button. The legs are short and a little loose at the hem.

Fabric and feel: viscose with stretch
The composition is 95% viscose and 5% spandex. The maker says the material gives the right elasticity for all-day wear and adapts to your movements.
In the photos the cloth is matte and looks slightly brushed, closer to a winter fabric than to a summer one. The maker gives no weight and does not mention a lining.
Fit and silhouette: high on the waist, short on the leg
Both sizes are 41 cm long. XS/S has a waist of 70 cm and hips of 92 cm; M/L has a waist of 74 cm and hips of 96 cm.
The waistband sits at the narrowest part of the body, and the legs open a little toward the hem, so the shorts do not grip the thigh. Measure your waist and compare it with the table. There are only four centimetres between the sizes.

Styling: tuck in, add boots
In the photos the shorts are worn with a fitted long-sleeved top tucked in and tall black boots. A sleeveless cream top with the burgundy pair is the lighter version.
The waistband deserves to be seen, so keep tops tucked or cropped. With sheer black tights and loafers the black pair turns into something you can wear to dinner.
