This cardigan by Devine is short, boxy and buttoned down the front. It has a round neck, long sleeves and two patch pockets, and in the photos the knit has clear horizontal ridges.
It is 100% acrylic with no stretch, and it comes in sizes S to XL. Size S is 52.6 cm long.

The piece: a knit with the shape of a jacket
The supplier keeps the description short: a button-down cardigan with long sleeves, buttoned, 100% acrylic, no stretch. The photos show a piece that sits between knitwear and tailoring. The neckline is round and has no collar. Dark round buttons run down the middle, and the two pockets sit low on the front.
One thing to know about the colour. The shop lists it as Gray/white. In every photo the cardigan is a warm off-white, close to cream, and we see no grey. We describe what the photos show.
Who it's for
For you if you want one layer that can be a top on Monday and a jacket on Saturday. Buttoned up it stands on its own. Open, it goes over a tee or a camisole.
The short length suits high-waisted trousers and skirts. If you like your knitwear long and slouchy, look further.

Fabric and feel: ridged acrylic knit
The yarn is 100% acrylic. Acrylic is a synthetic fibre that is light for its volume and usually soft against the skin, which is why it is used so often for knitwear.
The supplier says the knit has no stretch. That fits the photos, where the cardigan holds a straight, slightly structured line and does not cling. The supplier gives no weight for the knit.
Fit: boxy, short and roomy at the bust
Look at two numbers. The length is 52.6 cm in S and 56.4 cm in XL, so the hem lands around the waistband. The bust is 102.1 cm in S and 118.1 cm in XL, which leaves room for a top underneath.
Because there is no stretch, the measurements are what you get. Compare the bust and the shoulder width, 40.9 cm in S, with a jacket you own. If you are between sizes and plan to wear it closed over a shirt, take the larger one.

Styling: closed as a top, open as a jacket
The photos show both ways. Closed, it is worn with beige pleated trousers for a tone-on-tone look. Open, it goes over a white top with wide brown trousers and a straw bag.
It also works with straight jeans and loafers, or over a slip dress when the evening cools down. Gold earrings pick up the warm tone of the knit.
Occasions
Wear it to the office, to lunch, or on a spring or autumn day when a coat is too much and a tee is too little. It looks neat enough for a meeting and relaxed enough for the weekend.
Care: machine wash cold
The supplier's instructions: machine wash cold, tumble dry low. We would close the buttons first and use a laundry bag, so the ridges do not catch on zips from other clothes.
The wow detail: dark buttons on a pale knit
The buttons are the only dark thing on the cardigan. They draw a dotted line down the middle and give the pale knit its jacket look. Take them away and you have a nice cream cardigan. With them, it looks finished.
