These brown ankle boots with buckle strap are the low, easy kind. The heel is a block of 3 cm, the shaft is 15 cm high, and the toe is round. A strap runs around the ankle and closes with a gold-tone buckle, and a small padlock hangs from it at the back.
The upper is faux leather and the footbed is fabric. Sizes run from 36 to 41.

We buy this pair from a fashion wholesaler in Poland. Its data is not consistent about the brand: the brand field says Solea, and the description talks about "ankle boots with a buckle and padlock from Zema". We give you both names as we received them. The box may carry either one.
On the product itself the data is clear. Brown ankle boots, a block heel, a buckle and a decorative padlock, recommended for cooler days.
Who it's for
For you if you want a boot for every day that you can walk in from morning to evening. Three centimetres is barely a heel. It lifts you just enough to keep a trouser hem off the ground.
The padlock makes it a boot for someone who likes a detail. If you prefer your shoes completely plain, it may be one charm too many.

Material and feel: faux leather, fabric inside
The attribute list gives artificial leather for the upper and fabric for the footbed. The description also praises the materials in general terms. We leave that praise with the supplier, because nothing in the data backs it up with a test or a figure.
In the photos the surface is smooth and even, a deep chestnut brown that catches a little light on the toe.
Size and fit: go by the insole
The supplier gives the insole length per size: 23.5 cm for 36, 24 cm for 37, 24.5 cm for 38, 25 cm for 39, 25.5 cm for 40 and 26 cm for 41. Each size adds half a centimetre. Measure your foot from the heel to the longest toe and choose the size whose insole is a little longer.
Compared with other boots in our shop this table runs short: 26 cm is a 41 here and a 40 elsewhere. If you are between sizes, take the larger one. The shaft is 15 cm, which ends just above the ankle bone.

Styling: jeans, skirt or dress
The supplier suggests jeans, a skirt or a dress, and for once that covers it. In the photos the boots are worn with brown coated leggings, tone on tone.
We like them with dark straight jeans rolled once so the buckle shows, and a camel coat. With a knitted dress and tights in the same brown, your legs look longer.
Occasions
The supplier recommends them for cooler days, in casual and more formal outfits. They are office boots, weekend boots and travel boots. The supplier makes no claim about rain, so we don't either.
Care: a damp cloth
