The piece: model 221360 by Solea
Solea calls these ankle boots with a classic cut and decorative details. The upper is imitation leather. The supplier's text uses a greener-sounding word for it; the data field simply says artificial leather, and that is the term we use.
There are two zips. The outer one is the showpiece. The second, which the supplier calls an additional zipper closure, is there to get the boot on and off.
The earlier title of this page mentioned a fur trim. What you see at the top edge in the photos is the dark plush of the lining. The maker describes the interior as insulated fabric and says nothing about fur.
Who these boots are for
For you if you want a winter boot with some height and no thin heel. A 5 cm platform under the whole foot is steady to walk on.
They are also for people who like one shiny detail on an otherwise plain black boot. If you prefer no decoration at all, the hanging zip pull will bother you.

Materials and build: imitation leather, fabric lining
The upper is artificial leather according to the maker's data. In the photos it is smooth with a soft sheen. The footbed is fabric.
The lining is described as insulated fabric that keeps your feet warm. We have no temperature rating and will not invent one. Expect a lined winter boot, and judge the warmth for yourself in the first cold week.
Size and fit: measure the insole
The maker's table gives the insole length: 23.5 cm in size 36, then half a centimetre more per size up to 26 cm in size 41.
A lined boot has less room inside than an unlined one of the same length, and winter socks take space too. If your foot matches a size exactly, consider the next one up. The shaft is 20 cm high and the supplier says it fits close to the leg.

Styling: tights or tucked-in trousers
The photos show the boots with sheer black tights, which is the easiest way to wear them with a skirt or dress.
With trousers, tuck slim jeans or leggings into the shaft so the zip stays visible. A long black coat and one piece of silver-tone jewellery pick up the sparkle of the pull.

The supplier names everyday outfits in autumn and winter. Think of the commute, the Christmas market, a drink in town.
