These black Chelsea ankle boots by Solea have the elastic side insert the style is known for, and a zip as well, so getting them on takes no tugging. The upper is synthetic leather with a glossy patent-look panel around the heel.

The maker's text describes a classic cut: round toe, elastic insert on the outer side, zip closure and a soft fabric insole. The back of the boot is described as patent leather. The material field, though, lists artificial leather for the whole upper, so we call the back patent-look.

The upper is synthetic leather. The maker calls the boots insulated but does not say with what, and gives no temperature. We pass on the word and leave it at that.
Your foot rests on a fabric insole, which the maker describes as soft. The sole material is not named.
Size and fit: insole length per size
The insole is 23.5 cm in size 36 and grows by half a centimetre per size: 24 cm, 24.5 cm, 25 cm, 25.5 cm and 26 cm in size 41. Measure your foot standing up and pick the size that leaves a little room in front of your toes.
A 12 cm shaft covers the ankle bone. The elastic insert lets the opening widen as you step in.

Styling: tights or turn-ups
The model wears them with patterned tights and a short hem. Black Chelsea boots are good at that: they ground a skirt or dress without looking heavy.
