This wide-stripe sweatshirt by Relevance pairs broad mint and white stripes with a small surprise: a fabric flower on each sleeve, just above the cuff. The sleeves are three-quarter length, so the flowers sit where you see them.
It is made of 90% cotton with 10% spandex and comes in one size, 62 cm long with a chest of 118 cm. You pull it on over your head.

The piece: model 208223 by Relevance
Relevance is a womenswear label we buy through a fashion wholesaler in Poland. The supplier calls this a casual blouse that you put on over the head, for everyday wear and for work, in cotton with elastane, with a standard length, 3/4 sleeves, wide stripes and flower-shaped patches on the sleeves.
From the photos we would call it a sweatshirt. It has a round neck, dropped shoulders and ribbed white bands at the cuffs and the hem.
Three colourways appear in the gallery. The mint and white one is the one the supplier still lists; the supplier's own name for it is green. The light blue and the black versions are no longer available.
Who it's for
For you if you like a relaxed top with a wink. Stripes are a classic, and the flowers stop this one from being just another striped jumper.
It is one size with a wide chest of 118 cm, so it is meant to hang loose. If you like your tops fitted, this is not that.

Fabric and feel: cotton with a good share of stretch
The maker lists 90% cotton and 10% spandex and describes the fabric as soft and breathable. Ten percent spandex is a lot for a sweatshirt, so expect a jersey that gives easily and springs back.
The supplier does not say whether the inside is brushed or smooth, or how heavy the fabric is. In the photos it drapes softly, more like a heavy T-shirt jersey than a thick sweat fabric.
Fit and silhouette: boxy, to the hip
The maker's table has one row: 62 cm long, a chest of 118 cm and hips of 98 cm. The chest is wider than the hem, which is how a sweatshirt with a ribbed band works: roomy on top, gathered in at the bottom.
In the photos the hem sits at the hip and the sleeves end below the elbow. To compare, measure a sweatshirt you own across the chest, double it and hold it against 118 cm.

Styling: white, jeans or a pleated skirt
In the photos the mint version is worn with a white pleated mini skirt and turquoise sandals. It is a fresh, sporty look that suits spring.
The supplier suggests jeans, smarter trousers or a skirt. White jeans keep it light, blue jeans make it an everyday outfit, and wide cream trousers take it to the office. Because the sleeves are short, a watch or a few bracelets show nicely next to the flower.

The supplier names everyday wear and work. It is an easy top for a weekend, a day in town, a casual Friday, a holiday evening when the sun has gone and a T-shirt is too little.
