Materials and build

The handle is plastic and the head is silicone, according to the supplier. Silicone does not soak up lotion the way a sponge or cloth would, so more of the product goes onto your skin and less gets wasted inside the applicator.

The supplier gives no care instructions. As a general rule for bathroom tools, rinse the head after each use and let it air dry, hanging it by the hole if you like.
