Description
A poncho sweater with a slanted hem
This poncho sweater sits somewhere between a jumper and a cape. The sleeves are batwing, cut in one with the body and gathered into long ribbed cuffs. The hem runs on a slant, so one side stops around the hip and the other hangs to mid-thigh.
The supplier declares the fabric as 100% polyester. There are ten colours, from cream and camel to navy blue and burgundy, in sizes S to XL.

The piece: all drape, held by ribbing
Three ribbed edges give the loose shape its structure: the neckband, the cuffs and a wide border along the slanted hem. Between them the knit falls freely.
A note on the neck. The supplier lists a mock neck, but in every photo it is a round neckline with a ribbed band that sits close to the base of the neck. We describe what the photos show. We sell the sweater as "No brand", since the supplier data names no maker.
Who it's for
For you if you like an oversized sweater but want a little more shape than a plain big jumper gives. It suits a woman who wears slim trousers or leggings and wants the top half to move.
If you prefer a neat, fitted knit, this is not it. The whole idea is volume.

Fabric and feel: a fine polyester knit
The supplier declares 100% polyester. In the photos the knit is smooth and fine, with a soft, matte surface, and it drapes in broad folds under the arms. The supplier makes no warmth claim, so we make none. It looks like a layer for autumn and spring.
Fit and silhouette: wide on top, slanted below
The bust runs from 95 cm in S to 110 cm in XL, measured flat. With batwing sleeves that number says less than usual, because the fabric continues into the sleeve without a seam. The fit is loose in every size.
The supplier gives one length per size, 58 cm in S to 61 cm in XL, and does not say whether that is the short or the long side of the hem. In the photos the short side ends around the hip and the long side at mid-thigh.

Styling: slim trousers, simple bag
The supplier shows every colour the same way: over cream trousers with a tan handbag. That works because the bottom half is narrow and light. Try it with straight jeans and ankle boots too, or over leggings on a day at home.
Camel, cream and light grey are the easy neutrals. Red and burgundy are good for December.
Occasions
Wear it to the office on a casual day, or for a weekend walk and a coffee after. It also travels well as a layer for the plane or the train.
Care: check the label first
The supplier data has no care instructions, so follow the label sewn into the sweater. As general practice for knits: wash inside out on a cool, gentle cycle and dry flat, so the ribbed hem does not stretch.
The wow detail: the diagonal hem
A straight hem cuts you in two. This one runs on a diagonal with a wide ribbed border, so the eye follows a long line from hip to thigh. It is the reason the sweater looks like a cape from one side and a jumper from the other.
