The piece: three stones on a plain band
The ring is sold under the label Starglow. In the photos the centre stone is square with stepped facets, the kind of cut that shows long flashes of light instead of fine sparkle. Four double claws hold it at the corners.
The two side stones are clear triangles that point away from the centre. The band is plain and polished, without stones or engraving.
Who it's for
For you if you love a large coloured stone and want it in a silver colour. It works as a gift for a birthday or an anniversary, and some people choose a ring like this for a proposal.
Be clear about what it is: the supplier lists moissanite and zircon, which are not diamond or sapphire, and provides no grading report.

Materials and build
According to the supplier: platinum-plated, 925 sterling silver, moissanite, zircon accent stones, 3 carat. We have no hallmark or certificate on file for this piece. A plating is a thin layer over the silver, and thin layers wear with time, especially on a ring.
The carat weight is given as 3. The supplier does not state the size of the stone in millimetres, how the blue colour is produced or whether the ring is stamped. We can ask for you if you need to know before you buy.
Ring size: measure before you order
The sizes are 5 to 9. The supplier's chart gives the inner circumference: 5.1 cm for size 5, 5.3 cm for 6, 5.6 cm for 7, 5.8 cm for 8 and 6.1 cm for 9. We converted these from inches and rounded to one decimal.
Wrap a strip of paper around the finger, mark where it meets and measure the length. If you land between two sizes, take the larger one. A ring with a wide stone sits more comfortably when it can turn a little.
Ring sizes (cm)
| Size | Inner circumference |
|---|---|
| 5 | 5.1 |
| 6 | 5.3 |
| 7 | 5.6 |
| 8 | 5.8 |
| 9 | 6.1 |

Styling: let it stand alone
A stone this size wants space. Wear it on its own hand, or next to one thin plain band. Silver-coloured jewellery keeps the look calm, and blue picks up jeans, navy and white.
For an evening, pair it with small clear studs and nothing at the neck.
Occasions
Give it for a birthday, an anniversary or a graduation, or wear it yourself to a wedding or a dinner. It is a dress ring; take it off for the gym, the garden and the washing-up.
Care: no instruction from the supplier
The supplier gives no care text. The usual advice for jewellery with a plating applies: keep it dry, keep perfume and cleaning products away from it, and store it apart from other jewellery so the stones don't scratch each other. Wipe it with a soft cloth.
The wow detail: the stepped cut
Look into the centre stone and you see a hall of mirrors: square steps that lead the eye down to the middle. The blue goes from pale at the edges to deep at the centre as the ring turns. The two clear triangles beside it make the colour look stronger.
