This ring has one large square stone in the middle and two smaller rectangular stones stepping down on each side. The band is thin and rose gold in colour.

The piece: step-cut stones, by Starglow
The ring is sold under the label Starglow. The supplier lists 925 sterling silver, rose gold plating and moissanite, a carat weight of 3 ct, and one piece per order.
In the photos the centre stone is square with cut corners and long, flat facets, the style jewellers call a step cut. Prongs hold it at the corners. The side stones are baguette-shaped. The supplier does not say whether the 3 ct is the centre stone alone or all stones together, so we leave the figure as given.
Who it's for
For you if you want a large clear stone and prefer a lab-made stone to diamond, for the price or on principle. It is a ring that shows, so it suits someone who enjoys being asked about her jewellery.
It is also a gift: the supplier includes a box. If it is a surprise, find out the ring size first, because there are only five sizes.

Materials and build: the supplier's statement
According to the supplier: 925 sterling silver, moissanite, rose gold-plated, 3 ct. We have no hallmark or certificate on file for this piece. 925 sterling silver means 92.5% silver. Gold-plated is not solid gold: the gold is a thin layer over the silver, the supplier does not state its thickness, and on a ring that layer wears faster than on earrings because hands touch everything.
Moissanite is a clear lab-made stone often chosen in place of diamond. The supplier says moissanite jewellery above 0.3 carats comes with a certificate of stone properties. We have not seen that certificate ourselves.
Size and dimensions: US ring sizes
The sizes are US ring sizes 5 to 9. The supplier gives an inner circumference for each: 5.1 cm for size 5, 5.3 cm for 6, 5.6 cm for 7, 5.8 cm for 8 and 6.1 cm for 9. The figures were in inches, rounded to one decimal, so treat them as a guide.
The easiest way to choose is to measure a ring that fits the finger you have in mind. Wrap a strip of paper around the inside, mark it and measure the length. The supplier gives no measurements for the stones or the band.

Styling: let it stand alone
A ring this size does not need company on the same hand. Wear it alone and keep other rings for the other hand. Rose gold tones sit nicely next to cream, grey and navy, and they are friendly to warm skin tones.
If you stack, a plain thin band in the same colour on either side is as far as we would go.
