We want to be exact here. The supplier states 925 sterling silver, a plating per colour (platinum for silver, 18K gold for gold, rose gold for rose gold) and moissanite stones. There is no hallmark photo, no stone report and no colour or clarity grade in the data, and we have not tested the earrings ourselves.
A plating is a thin layer. With daily wear it can fade over the years, sooner on the gold and rose gold versions than on the silver one. That is true of gold-plated jewellery in general, and it is fair to tell you up front.
Size and dimensions: 1 carat per ear
There is one size. The supplier gives the stone as 1 carat per earring and the weight as 0.09 oz, or 2.5 g. A diameter in millimetres is not listed.
For a sense of scale, look at the photos on the ear and on the fingertip: the stone covers a good part of the earlobe without hanging below it.
