These men's shorts are hard to miss. The whole surface is printed with drawn faces in sunglasses, in orange, teal, yellow and black on a cream ground. The legs are wide and the waist is a broad elastic band with a drawstring.
They are 100% polyester, machine washable, and come in sizes M to 3XL.

The shorts are sold under the label X - powerGuy. The supplier lists two features, drawstring and basic style, with 100% polyester and the origin as imported. Nothing is said about stretch, pockets or lining, so we make no claim about those.
There is one colour option, called multicolor. The two photos show the shorts on a hanger; there is no photo on a model.
Who it's for
For men who like a loud print in summer and a waistband that asks nothing of them. If your shorts are usually navy or khaki, this is the pair that changes the holiday photos.

Fabric and feel: 100% polyester
The fabric is 100% polyester. Polyester takes a sharp print and dries quickly, which suits a pair of summer shorts. The supplier does not give a weight or say whether the fabric stretches.
In the photos the cloth has some body: the legs hold their shape on the hanger and do not cling.
Fit and silhouette: relaxed, above the knee on most
The waist figure in the chart is the elastic at rest: 70.1 cm in M, rising to 94 cm in 3XL. It stretches to fit and the drawstring holds it. The hip is the roomy measurement, from 110 cm to 134.1 cm.
Length runs from 57.9 cm to 66 cm. Hold a tape from your waist down your leg to see where that ends on you; on an average height it is around the knee.

Styling: one loud piece, the rest plain
Let the shorts be the only pattern. A plain white, black or cream T-shirt works, and so does an open shirt in one of the print colours. Add slides or white sneakers.
The cream waistband picks up a cream or off-white top nicely. Tuck nothing in; the band is part of the look.
Occasions
Wear them on holiday, at a festival, to a barbecue or on a hot day in town. The supplier does not describe them as swim shorts, so we would not treat them as swimwear.
Care: machine wash cold
The supplier says machine wash cold and tumble dry low. Turning printed shorts inside out before washing is a habit worth having; it spares the print.
