A sheath mini dress with a strong shoulder
This sheath mini dress from Moe is plain in colour and sharp in line. Shaping seams run down the front, and the short sleeves have sewn-in pads that square the shoulder.
It closes with a concealed zip at the back and has no lining. The fabric is 95% polyester and 5% spandex. It comes in violet blue, fuchsia pink, black and beige, in sizes S to XL.

The piece: simple, with structure
Moe states that the dress was designed and produced in Poland. The facts in the maker's description are these: modelling stitching on the front, short decorative sleeves with sewn-in cushions, a mini length, a concealed zip at the back and no lining.
In the photos the neck is round and high. Two seams run from the bust down the front, and the skirt widens a little towards the hem.
Four colours can be ordered. The supplier's 'violet' is a blue with a violet tint, under our button 'Blue'.

For you if you like a short dress that looks neat. The high neck and the structured shoulder balance the short hem.
Check the length. At 90 cm in S and 94.5 cm in XL, measured from the shoulder, the hem lands at mid-thigh on the model. If you are tall it will sit higher.

Fabric and feel: smooth, with a little stretch
The composition is 95% polyester and 5% spandex. In the photos the fabric is smooth and matte and firm enough to keep the sleeves and the skirt in shape.
The dress is unlined. In the beige, wear underwear close to your skin tone.
Fit and silhouette: close on top, slightly wider below
The maker's table gives a chest of 90 cm in S, 95 cm in M, 100 cm in L and 105 cm in XL. The waist runs from 75 cm to 89 cm and the hips from 96 cm to 111 cm.
Those numbers are roomier than the photos suggest, so compare them with a dress you own. The length goes up by a centimetre and a half per size.

Styling: keep the neckline clear
In the photos the dress is worn with heeled sandals, in yellow with the violet blue and the beige. A contrast shoe is all the styling it needs.
With a high round neck, earrings work better than a necklace. In autumn, add opaque tights and ankle boots.
Occasions
The maker suggests summer meetings and evening outings. We would wear it to a birthday, a graduation, a dinner or drinks after work. The black and the beige are the calm ones, and the fuchsia is for a party.
