This sleeveless shirt dress by BeWear takes the top of a shirt, with a collar and buttons, and joins it to a flared skirt. It is made of 95% cotton with 5% spandex, so it sits close at the bodice and still lets you move.

BeWear describes it in one sentence: a sleeveless dress with a collar and an unbuttoned front, with a slightly flared bottom, for work and for walking on warm days. The photos fill in the rest.
The buttons run from the collar down to the waist. A belt in the same fabric is knotted at the front in every photo. The maker's text doesn't mention it, so we list it as something we see and not as a promise. The green is a clear emerald and the blue a bright cobalt.

Fabric and feel: cotton with stretch
The dress is 95% cotton and 5% spandex. An older note on this product called it polyester, which was wrong. In the photos the fabric is matte and smooth, with enough body for the skirt to stand out from the legs.
Cotton with a little stretch is a good partner for a fitted bodice. It gives when you breathe and bend, and the colour stays deep and even across the dress.
Fit and silhouette: fitted top, full skirt
The maker's table moves in even steps: 5 cm at the chest and waist and 2 cm in length per size. Size M has a chest of 85 cm, a waist of 75 cm and a length of 113 cm. Size XL has 95, 85 and 117 cm.
The chest numbers are on the small side, and the table does not say whether they describe the dress or the body. The 5% spandex gives some room. If you are between sizes, or fuller at the bust, take the larger size, because a buttoned front shows when it is under strain. The skirt is wide, so hips are not a concern.
