The photos show flat house keys. The supplier does not say which keys fit, and a car key with a thick remote has a different shape, so don't count on that one folding in.

Materials and build: cowhide and metal

The supplier lists cowhide and a metal buckle, and its material line says leather. We have no test report, so we pass it on as the supplier's statement. What the photos show fits with it: a grain on the surface, raw cut edges and a paler underside.

The clips and the snap are gold-tone. That describes the colour. The supplier does not say which metal they are made of.

Size and dimensions: about 9 cm long

The supplier gives about 9 x 4.5 x 3 cm. In one photo the case lies in an open hand and is about as long as the palm, which is a fair picture of the size.

How many keys go in is not stated. If you carry a large bunch, ask us before you order and we will put the question to the supplier.

Styling: three colours, one shape

Brown is the classic one and shows the raw edges most clearly. Green is the choice if you want to find your keys in a dark bag. Black is the quiet one.

All three have the same gold-tone clips, so the organiser looks at home next to a watch or a bag with gold-tone hardware.

When you'll use it

Care: keep it dry

The supplier gives no care instructions. As general practice for leather goods, keep the case dry and wipe it with a soft dry cloth. Leather that you handle every day usually gets darker and softer over time, and we think that suits a key case.
