Description
A short cocktail dress with a heart-shaped neckline
This short cocktail dress by Numoco is a simple idea done in many colours. The top is fitted and sleeveless with a heart-shaped neckline, and from the waist a full skirt flares out to just above the knee.
You can choose plain shades such as red, navy and bottle green, or one of the prints. Most versions are 95% polyester with 5% spandex, and the maker's table gives a length of 95 to 98 cm for sizes S to XL.

The piece: one cut, a model number for every colour
Numoco is a Polish label that sells its dresses through a fashion wholesaler in Poland. Behind this page are ten model numbers, one per colour. We read all ten descriptions and each begins the same way: a flared dress with a heart-shaped neckline.
The colours follow the supplier. There is red, navy blue, burgundy, bottle green, cornflower blue and a blue the supplier calls the colour of the sea. Then come the patterned ones: black with gold-coloured leaves, a rose print on white, powder pink with glitter and navy with pink leaves.
Our colour buttons do not always use those names. The table above shows which button belongs to which colour, and the photo changes when you pick one.
Who it's for
For you if you want a party dress that does not ask you to hold your breath. The top is close, and everything below the waist has room.
The wide straps cover a normal bra, which many sleeveless dresses do not. And because the shape stays the same across the colours, you can own a plain one for work events and a print for weddings and know that both fit the same way.
Closer look: what the maker's data and the photos show
- Flared dress (maker's data)
- Heart-shaped neckline (maker's data)
- Sleeveless with wide shoulder straps (photos)
- Fitted top with vertical seams and a seam at the waist (photos)
- Full skirt in deep folds, above the knee on the models (photos)
- Small metal tag at the waist (photos)
The supplier does not describe the fastening, and the back views do not show one clearly. Ask us if you want to know before you order.
Fabric and feel: it depends a little on the colour
For nine of the ten versions the maker lists 95% polyester and 5% spandex, and describes the material as pleasant to the touch. The red one is the exception. Its description gives 70% polyester and 30% viscose and calls the material inflexible, so expect less give in the red.
In the photos the plain colours have a dense, matte surface that holds the folds of the skirt in a rounded shape. The powder pink version has a glitter finish, according to the supplier, and it shimmers in the pictures.
Fit and silhouette: fitted to the waist, then wide
The table below is the maker's for most colours. Size M has a chest of 88 cm and a waist of 70 cm, and the dress is 96 cm long. The top is the only part that needs to fit, so choose by chest and waist and ignore your hips.
Some versions also come in XXL, and here the maker's numbers differ. For the navy leaf print XXL is 99 cm long with a chest of 102 cm and a waist of 86 cm. For the black and gold print, the roses, the sea blue and the powder pink, XXL is listed at 105 cm long with a chest of 110 cm and a waist of 92 cm. The four oldest colours have no length in their table. Not every colour is available in every size; the buttons show what you can order.
Size chart (cm)
| Size | Length | Chest | Waist |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 95 | 84 | 66 |
| M | 96 | 88 | 70 |
| L | 97 | 92 | 76 |
| XL | 98 | 96 | 78 |
Source: the maker's size table for most colours. The red version is listed 2 cm wider at the chest (86 to 98 cm). The table does not say whether these are garment or body measurements.
Styling: the neckline does the talking
In the photos the plain versions are worn with nude or black pumps and almost no jewellery. That restraint suits the dress. A short pendant that sits inside the heart shape is enough.
With a print, keep the rest quiet: nude sandals and a small bag. For cooler evenings a cropped jacket or a bolero keeps the waist visible, where a long cardigan would hide the shape. Tights and ankle boots carry the darker colours into winter.
Occasions
The supplier files it under evening dresses and names several of the models cocktail dress. That is where it belongs: weddings, engagement parties, graduations, Christmas dinners and New Year's Eve.
The colour decides the season. Burgundy and bottle green are December colours. The rose print and the powder pink are made for spring weddings, and the red is the one for a date.
Care: follow the label
The maker's data we receive has no care instructions, so please go by the label sewn into the dress. This matters because the fabrics differ between colours.
To store it, hang the dress by the shoulders with room around the skirt, so the folds are not pressed flat.
The wow detail: a skirt that moves
In several photos the model holds the skirt out to the side, and you can see how much fabric is in it. It hangs in deep folds when you stand and swings out when you turn. On a dance floor that is the whole point of a dress like this.
