This button-down cap sleeve shirt is short and boxy. It has a collar, a row of brown buttons and two patch pockets low on the front. The shoulders run wide enough to cover the top of the arm, and that is the whole sleeve.
The supplier lists 95% polyester and 5% spandex. It comes in orange, white, scarlet and black, in sizes S to 2XL.

The piece: a shirt with the sleeves left off
The shirt is sold under the label Rhythmia. Think of a classic shirt with the sleeves taken away at the shoulder seam. What is left is a cap that sits on the edge of the shoulder.
The two pockets are placed near the hem, not on the chest, which gives the front a slightly workwear look. In the photos the fabric has a creased, slubbed surface. The supplier does not describe the weave.
Who it's for
For you if you want a collar and buttons on a warm day without long sleeves. It also suits you if you wear high-waisted jeans or skirts: the shirt is 55.9 cm long in S and meets the waistband without tucking.

Fabric and feel: polyester with a creased look
The composition is 95% polyester and 5% spandex. The supplier still lists the fabric as having no stretch, so don't count on it giving much. Our own earlier page called this shirt cotton. The supplier's data does not support that, and we have corrected it.
In the photos the surface looks lightly creased on purpose, which means it should look the same after a day in a bag.
Fit and silhouette: boxy and short
The bust measures 96 cm in S and 118.1 cm in 2XL. The length goes up one centimetre per size, from 55.9 to 59.9 cm. The supplier gives no shoulder or sleeve figure.
The cut is straight, so the bust number is the one to check. Compare it with a shirt you like when it is buttoned. If you want it looser, as in the photos, go up a size.

Styling: with a high waist
Every photo shows it with blue jeans, and that is the obvious match. White with jeans is the cleanest. Orange and scarlet are strong colours and look good against a tan.
Try the black one with wide trousers for work, or leave the bottom button open over a skirt.
Occasions
Wear it to the office in summer, to lunch, on holiday, or on the bike into town. A collar keeps it neat enough for a meeting.

The supplier's instruction is machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Wash the white one separately from the scarlet and the orange.

Most shirts put a pocket on the chest. This one has two big ones down by the hem, where your hands fall. They change the balance of the shirt and give you somewhere to hook your thumbs.
