These black lace-up boots are built on a chunky platform sole with a deep tread. One detail breaks the black: a brown stripe that runs all the way around the edge of the sole, finished with light stitching.
The maker gives the upper as leather. The shaft is 16.5 cm high, the heel 5.5 cm, and the sizes run from 36 to 41.

The piece: model 222015
First the names. The wholesaler lists this boot under Solea, model 222015. The description that comes with it calls it the Shani model by Filippo. We pass on both, since we cannot see from the data which name is on the box.
The description speaks of a black boot with a contrasting brown insert. In the photos that brown appears as the stripe around the sole. Above it the boot is all black: a round toe, laces up the front, a strap section around the ankle with a small stud, and a pull tab at the back.
Who they're for
For you if you want one pair of black boots for the cold half of the year and you like them with some weight. The maker places them in autumn and winter and on colder spring days.
The brown line is also practical. It lets you wear them with brown or beige as easily as with black, which the maker points out too.

Upper: leather, according to the maker. We have no certificate behind that, so we repeat it as stated. The footbed is fabric. The maker's data says nothing about the lining or the sole material.
In the photos the upper has a fine grain and a soft sheen. The sole is thick and looks moulded in one piece with the heel. The description also promises long wear. We leave that out, because nothing in the data supports it.
Size and measurements
The insole lengths are 23.7 cm in size 36, 24.8 cm in 37, 25.3 cm in 38, 25.8 cm in 39, 26.8 cm in 40 and 27.4 cm in 41. That is longer than many brands give for the same number.
So measure your foot. If your usual size already leaves room, you may be fine one size down, but only the centimetres can tell you. The 16.5 cm shaft ends a little above the ankle and the laces let you set how tight it sits.

Styling: heavy boot, light outfit
The photos show them with fishnet tights and a short skirt, and the contrast is the idea. A heavy sole under something light always looks deliberate.
The maker lists jeans, skirts, dresses and fabric trousers. I would add a long floaty dress with a chunky cardigan, and wide trousers that break on the laces. To echo the brown stripe, add a tan belt or bag.
Occasions
The maker names everyday wear, work and meeting friends. With a 5.5 cm heel on a platform they are comfortable for a day on your feet, and the tread suits wet pavements better than a smooth sole does. We have no data on water resistance.

The maker's data has no care instructions. If the upper is leather as stated, a neutral shoe cream and a soft brush are the usual routine, and wet boots should dry slowly at room temperature. Test any product on a small spot first.
