This knit balaclava from Moe is a hood and a collar in one piece. It leaves your whole face open, covers your hair and ears and closes around the neck like a roll-neck.
It is knitted in a rib from 85% acrylic and 15% nylon. There is one size, with a total length of 46 cm, and four colours: grey, red, beige and brown.

The piece: what the maker says about it
Moe describes it as an enveloping balaclava with a fitted collar. According to the maker it protects against the cold and stays lightweight. The yarn is called soft and elastic, and the edges are finished with elastic ribbing so the shape holds.
The cut is close around the head with a little looseness around the neck. That matches the photos, where the collar sits in a soft fold on the shoulders.
There are four models, one per colour. In the photos the red is a dark red close to burgundy, the beige is a beige-brown (our button says 'Taupe') and the brown is a dark chocolate.
Who it's for

Materials and build: acrylic with nylon, knitted in a rib
The composition is 85% acrylic and 15% nylon. There is no animal fibre in it, which is good to know if those make you itch.
A rib knit stretches sideways and springs back. That is why one size can fit different heads and why the collar closes around the neck without a fastening. In the photos the rib is fairly chunky, so the piece has some body and stands up around the face.

Styling: under a coat or over a knit
The photos show it over a fitted top in a matching beige, which makes the brown and beige versions look like part of the outfit. The grey goes with almost any coat.
Wear it under a long coat with the hood up when it is cold and push the hood back indoors. It then sits around your neck like a snood.
