It holds small tea cups in its curved tentacles, turning a practical storage spot into a conversation piece for your kitchen counter, shelf or dining table.

It measures about 19 x 19 x 21 cm and weighs around 1.2 kg. Several of the tentacles are formed into cradles that hold small cups upside down, so they can drip dry or simply be on display.

We sell this under wowstore.live. The tentacles have raised circular details along their inner edges, matching the suction cups of a real octopus.

Who it's for

For you if you like coastal or nautical decor, or if you collect octopus-themed pieces for your home. It works for anyone who wants a place to set out small tea cups for guests, or who just needs an unusual decorative object to fill a gap on a sideboard or open shelf.

It is not sized for large mugs, so if you mostly drink from big coffee mugs, this piece is better as decor than as daily storage. Keep that in mind before you order.

Closer look: what you can see

Octopus shape with eight tentacles (photos)

Several tentacles formed into cup cradles (photos)

Suction-cup detailing along tentacle inner sides (photos)

Mottled bronze-look finish (supplier; photos)

Base formed by lower tentacles (photos)

Made of resin (supplier)

About 19 x 19 x 21 cm, about 1.2 kg (supplier)

Cups not included (supplier)

Materials and build: resin with a bronze finish

The holder is made of resin with a bronze-look finish. Resin is a cast material that can hold fine detail, which shows here in the texture of the octopus skin and the small suction cups along the tentacles.

The finish is a decorative coating, not real bronze. The supplier gives no specific care instructions, so a soft dry or slightly damp cloth is the safest way to clean it.

Size and dimensions

The supplier gives approximate dimensions of 19 x 19 x 21 cm, and a weight of about 1.2 kg. The supplier also lists a weight of 50 g elsewhere in their data, which is inconsistent with the shipping weight of 1.37 kg, so we use the 1.2 kg figure.

Because the tentacles curve in different directions, the footprint on your shelf is roughly 19 cm wide and deep, and the tallest tentacle reaches about 21 cm high. It is sized for small tea cups, not for large mugs or tall glasses.

Styling ideas for your space

On a kitchen counter, set it near your kettle or tea station with a few small cups in the tentacles ready for use. On a dining sideboard, it can hold espresso cups for after dinner, or sit empty as a sculptural piece.

It also works as a small gift for someone who collects sea-themed objects or who likes unusual home accessories.

Where it works

Use it in the kitchen for everyday tea cups, in the dining room for guest cups, or in a living room or study as a decorative object on a shelf or side table. It is also a fit for a beach house or a bathroom with a nautical theme, where it can hold small items instead of cups.

Care: wipe clean

The supplier gives no specific care instructions for this piece. For resin decor with a decorative finish, the usual practice is to wipe it with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dust. Avoid harsh cleaners, scrubbing or soaking, which could damage the bronze-look coating.

The wow detail: every tentacle has its own shape

What makes this piece more than a simple holder is that no two tentacles look the same. Some curl up to hold a cup, some sweep out to the sides, and some form the base that keeps the octopus steady. From the front you see the face and the cups; from the side or the back you see the full curve of the tentacles, so it looks interesting from every angle.

Not sure it suits your home?
